There are many plugins in RT. Some of them need better documentation. So here it is.

RT::Extension::ArticleTemplates

This extension enables you the customize the Articles like the Templates. However there are some drawbacks. The transaction phase is not yet ready so you can not use $Transaction variable. But you can use the Mason framework like this for example: $HTML::Mason::Commands::session{CurrentUser}->RealName
