  1. get pkg-get from blastwave.org
  2. run pkg-get install rt (It will install rt and all deps)
  3. configure apache
  4. configure mod-perl
  5. configure mysql
  6. start mysql
  7. configure rt
  8. configure syslog
  9. configure sendmail
  10. start apache

Note, 10/29/08: the blastware method will install RT 3.6.4, but without mod_perl compiled. Therefore, it is recommended that you install RT and apache separately, depending on your requirements. Blast is great for getting the basic tools, like perl 5.8.8 and mysql, but please follow the ManualInstallation for building and installing apache and RT 3.8.1.
